Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has mentioned that his ancestors introduced Governor Monday Okpebholo to revive the misplaced glory of Edo State.

“Our ancestors introduced you to revive the misplaced glory of Edo State, which evil-doers needed to spoil. We now have been praying, and we’ll proceed to wish for you, to not permit evil forces to destroy Edo.”
In his response, Okpebholo expressed gratitude to Oba Ewuare for his kindness and help on each a private stage and for the sake of Edo State.
He referred to his election win on the tribunal as a historic milestone, calling it the “sweetest judgment in historical past.”
He emphasised that the choice was reached unanimously by the three-member panel.
