A father and his two sons have been reportedly killed in Zogu village in Miango District, Bassa Native Authorities Space of Plateau state.
Spokesperson of Irigwe Growth Affiliation (IDA), Sam Jugo, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Jos, Plateau state capital.
As reported by Every day Belief on Saturday, April 12, he gave the names of the victims as Weyi Gebeh, aged 56, Zhu Weyi, aged 25 and Henry Weyi aged 16.
Based on Jugo, the victims had been killed within the evening whereas they had been sleeping, describing the incident as barbaric.
He stated:
As of the time of filling this report, the spokespersons of Operation Secure Haven, Main Samson Zhakom, and the state police command, DSP Alabo Alfred, had been but to react to the incident.
NewsWatch.com.ng understands that this unhappy incident occurred days after Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau state condemned the current assaults on communities in Bokkos and Bassa Native Authorities Areas of the state, describing them as “genocide sponsored by terrorists.”
The assaults, which occurred on March 28, 2025, claimed the lives of at the very least 52 individuals, together with kids.

Earlier, NewsWatch.com.ng reported {that a} high authorities official, Samuel Jatau, narrowly escaped an ambush by suspected terrorists in Bokkos LGA whereas visiting communities affected by earlier assaults.
